There are three positions we are currently accepting resumes for in our Chicago and Washington, DC Metro offices: Analyst, Manager, and Vice President.
Analyst
The Analyst is Springhill Consulting Group’s entry-level position. As an Analyst, you will gain exposure to a variety of industries and business problems. Analysts spend the majority of their time researching the issues that are most important to our clients. An Analyst role with Springhill is a great start to a business career, as you not only gain invaluable experience, but also enter a company with opportunities for upward mobility. Analysts will have 0-3 years of professional experience coupled with strong performance at a top academic institution. Ideal candidates possess strong interpersonal skills. The ability to work in team settings is critical, as well as demonstrated success in written and oral communications. Academic and professional references are essential.
Manager
The ideal Manager candidate will have at least 4 years of business experience, preferably in a consulting setting. He or she must be well-organized, thoughtful, and able to communicate effectively with both teammates and clients.
Our Managers spend the majority of their time leading project teams through the research and analysis process. This includes coaching more junior members of the firm, analyzing insights gained through the research process, structuring client deliverables, and presenting to clients. Managers also correspond directly with clients throughout the project and work with Springhill principals to deliver key engagement insights and recommendations. It is expected that Managers will be leading more than one project at any given time.
Top Manager candidates have a business degree (preferably MBA) from a leading institution and demonstrated experience managing others.
Vice President
A Vice President is responsible for managing client relationships and providing strategic insights to Springhill’s clients. Vice Presidents typically come from other consulting firms or industry, with business development and team/client management responsibilities being two key elements of their experience.
A successful Vice President candidate will have 10+ years business experience, an MBA from a top institution, and work experience in the industries associated with Springhill’s primary practice areas. They are deep thinkers with a keen business sense and an eye towards client growth. They not only can deliver high quality insights to our clients, but they can develop and grow their own consulting practice. Our Vice Presidents are the first line connecting us to our clients, with business development a key aspect of the role.
Springhill requires at least 2 professional references that can speak to the Vice President candidate’s management and business development experience.
